Tutorial

A quick visual walkthrough of everything you'll run into during a career.

Every career follows the same loop, start to finish:

🧑 Identity 📋 Foundation 🎯 Role 📝 Offers 🕹️ Play Seasons 🏁 Retirement

Identity and Foundation set your starting attributes and potential. From there you pick a Role, choose a starting Offer, then play season by season until you retire.

Along the way you'll manage your Rosters (who you can sign for), react to random events and decisions during Gameplay, negotiate Transfers, risk being Released, and chase Awards & MVPs — each covered in its own tab above.

The Rosters screen (from the start menu) is where every team in the game lives. Every org is fictional — rename teams, swap in your own logo URLs, set a starting VRS (ranking strength) per team, or leave it blank for a random value inside that team's tier. Export your roster as a JSON file to share it, or import someone else's.

One row per team: name, logo URL, and starting VRS. Edits only take effect once you hit "Save Changes" — nothing is written until then.

Every season simulates your play and updates your rating. It can also trigger a random Event (narrative with an automatic effect) or a Decision (you pick between options, each with its own odds).

🎯 Tryout Invite from a Higher-Tier Org

A higher-tier organization invites you to scrim with them for an open roster spot.

✅ You impress — a buyout offer follows40% ❌ Overwhelmed — 💭 Morale −4~960%

Every option shows its odds up front — green pills are the upside, red pills are the risk.

Your five attributes are shown as bars on the Career screen and shift after almost every season and decision.

Your season rating is a weighted blend of all five attributes — but the weighting depends on your Role. Your role's signature attribute counts for over half your rating; the rest matters far less.

The highlighted cell is each role's signature attribute — it alone outweighs the other four combined. Game Sense is the one attribute every role leans on at least a little, and it's the signature stat for Lurkers specifically.

When your contract runs out (or you're a free agent), you'll get a handful of Offers from teams across tiers. Each one shows the team's VRS (world-ranking strength), contract length, salary, and squad morale.

Higher-VRS teams push your world ranking up faster but come with more pressure; a lower one is safer but slower to climb.

Bad seasons, an expiring deal with no renewal, or a failed high-risk decision can get you released to free agency. Attributes usually take a hit, but a new round of offers follows — scaled to whatever's left of your potential.

❌ Doesn't pan out — dropped, and every attribute takes a hit60%

Being a free agent isn't the end — it just means your next offers come from whoever's willing to take a chance on you now.

World ranking, MVPs, and Best-Position awards all show up as colored chips in your career Timeline and Achievements.

RankWire #1 RankWire #2 RankWire #3 Major MVP Best AWPer

Gold/silver/bronze mark a top-3 world ranking finish; diamond is reserved for MVPs and Best-Position awards — the rarest individual honors in the game.

Retirement triggers automatically once age and decline catch up with you. From there you land on a full Career Summary: final stats, your whole Timeline, and a Leaderboard comparing this run against every career you've played before (saved locally in your browser).
