Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information CSLarp ("we", "us") collects when you visit cslarp.com, and how it's used.

What we collect

• Local game data: your career progress is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device unless you choose to submit it to the public Leaderboard.
• Leaderboard submissions: if you add a finished career to the global Leaderboard, the player name, nationality, role, and career statistics you generated are stored on our server and displayed publicly. Don't submit anything you wouldn't want public.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used, including pages visited, session length, and general device or location info.
• Advertising: we use Google AdSense to show ads, which may use cookies to personalize ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
• Contact form: if you use the Contact form, the message (and optional attachment) you submit is sent to us so we can respond. We don't use it for anything else.

Cookies and consent

CSLarp uses Cookiebot to manage cookie consent. On your first visit you'll be asked which categories of cookies (analytics, advertising) you're comfortable with. Nothing beyond what's strictly necessary loads until you consent. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site and revisiting.

Third-party services

• Google Analytics (Google LLC): usage analytics
• Google AdSense (Google LLC): advertising
• Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S): consent management
• Supabase: hosts the public Leaderboard's stored career data

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Children's privacy

CSLarp is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You can play a full career without ever submitting anything to the Leaderboard or Contact form. The game itself works entirely from your browser's local storage. You can also decline analytics and advertising cookies via the consent banner at any time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent change.
